Hi , my name is Queenie and I have been in this conditions since a long time. almost all these types of depressions, I have been experienced. Since we are not rich , couldn’t afford to pay Psychologist, Psychiatrist, and Therapist . Its been years (more them 5 years) carried this conditions in my life that really made me so broken and sick. For the past years , I struggle so much in my life even my son affected from my conditions and I feel worse when I cannot be a good mother to him anymore. I’ve tried my best to change and heal my self , I read , I listen to people that inspire me to a better life and changing but those times seems didn’t changed. I keep moving in life living like a comatose, my heart is beating , I am breathing but my feelings is full of sadness, very weak, no hopes, I am very sick.
One time, my son look so poor hugging me while I am crying, that made me more pain in my heart, my very small son even feel how miserable I am, my son who is trying to comfort me though he is only 4 years old that time. that I should be the one taking care of him, giving love and comfort. I feel so sh*t mother , the worst mother that my child who help me to be better, comfort me from crying. very bad memories of mine.
From that time I tried to calm my mind. I gradually think of myself how will I heal. lil by lil I did some exercises to help myself healing from my bad conditions. Conquering Depressions
- Meditations – this is the best and first step you should do in healing depressions. why ? because depressions affect your whole body , that means the Brain who controls our body is full of different things in your mind, our brain Never stop thinking, and it keeps working and thinking even the useless things is all running in our mind. THAT IS WHY Meditations is very important to do , HELP Clearing your mind so that it will rest and that will CALM your Brain. Learn to rest your mind because this organ has the biggest task in our body and our life. Help your mind to calm so you can think properly for better and work peacefully. Do It twice a day for beginners at least 5 mins a day , then every week make it longer and do more times as you can.
- Exercise – I know its difficult to motivate our body during Depressions, however , STRETCHING is a good start to exercise your body, play an energetic music so that you will feel happy when you do stretching. Do it even in a few minutes only for the starts. make your self sweat if you can, because that sweat are the micro bacteria depressions inside your body.
- Eat Healthy Food – its very important to eat healthy food, it doesn’t require expensive food or special food. in my hometown, vegetables in garden , and cook very simple is fine, even you don’t eat that much at least still healthy. I know its also feel lazy to cook or prepare food during depressions, but never ever eat fast food or junk food because it wont help your body to regain strength, and not helping your mind to work properly.
- Taking Care of Yourself – Basic caring of your self is important as well, to help building confidence to yourself. Drinking enough amount of water is must, washing your face in the morning when you wake is a very basic favor for yourself but that is a big thing, comb your hair and wear nice clothes. Not very beautiful but just right to feel comfortable.
- Listen to Music or Sing a Song – play a music that you love or singing a song love, a music that makes you move your body (Dance) , play a music that you love to dance WHEN YOU ARE A KID. if you see your body is moving, let it be and dance like a crazy moves and THAT IS NOT. sometimes we have to be silly or crazy to dance because there is the only way to feel your FREEDOM of your self.
- Do Hobby – its not necessarily focus on your hobby, just do it sometimes or often to sharpen your mind. help you focus on small details and helps you create new things and idea.
- I did Gardening too – I love plants, what I did in my home before I focused on taking care of my plants, building my garden arranging my plants in their places, or like designing my somewhere I feel rested and peaceful place. And plants help me so much to enhance my bad feelings, regain energy and I feel I get more fresh air from plants and brighten my day every day.
I know how much difficult to do this , but if you want to change your life and if you want to heal , please motivate yourself to do these things, help yourself to heal. We are not Stupid, if we let ourselves stay sick then we are really stupid. no one can help you ONLY YOUR OWN SELF. Do it little by Little then soon will Succeed on overcoming Depressions.
